RT Group, Inc. (RTG) was retained by Kiewit Infrastrucure to design the concrete ballast blocks for (2) 48-inch-diameter HDPE pipelines for a discharge line for the Blowdown Structure.
The ballast blocks were designed for a corrosive environment and the pipeline was designed using a float-in and sink method. This project included designing a launch rail system and skidway for the assembly of approximately 200 feet of pipeline at a time
